Pet Treatment at ADFH Pet Care Center
The ADFH Pet Care Center has rounded up its services by opening a pet clinic. It provides different kinds of preventive care, vaccinations, spaying and neutering as well as more advanced treatments and surgical procedures. With our digital X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy even the most advanced examinations can be performed in the ADFH Pet Care Center. Apart from conservative medicine, our Pet Clinic offers homeopathic remedies and medicines for pets. The Royal Grooming Parlor of the ADFH Pet Care Center provides wellbeing and spa packages for cats and dogs. Pet Boarding
Following the overwhelming success and permanent full booking of our facilities, the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital has extended our dog kennels and catteries in 2008 and 2010. Currently, we have a huge number of rooms available for boarding. Our large rooms for dogs have an air-conditioned indoor area with the possibility to go outdoors in the garden part. Dogs can choose by themselves where they want to stay. Furthermore, dogs have the possibility to run and play freely in an enclosed garden directly adjacent to the boarding facility. Our cats love to spend their day lying on their sun bath shelf and looking out of the windows of their rooms. We do not believe in keeping cats in cages as they need a space to roam around. Our spacious individual suitesadhere to European standards for pet boarding. We also cater for 9pt pets like guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, hamsters etc. Our Pet Care Center also accepts pets for day care or weekend stays.more...
Dog Training
The ADFH Pet Care Center provides a dog training facility. We offer different types of dog training through our highly experienced staff.
Types of Training classes:
- Training for house manners (how to behave properly at home and how to become clean)
- Obedience Training (follow all different kind of commands, walk properly with and without leash etc)
- Racing Training (for racing dogs like Salukis)
- Guard Dog Training (how to protect you and your home)
All training classes are performed on an individual basis for each dog by our experienced dog trainer. more...
Pet Laboratory
In 2007, the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital Laboratory was confirmed for the second time after 2005 as Avian Influenza Reference Laboratory in Abu Dhabi Emirate. This in-house Competence Center provides timely, fast and accurate availability of all laboratory results required for precise medical diagnosis and prompt treatment. The ADFH Laboratory is equipped with the latest technology to perform fast and accurate examinations of all different samples in the state-of-the-art professional way. In 2008, the histopathology unit was added to the Laboratory. Moreover, the ADFH Lab has extended its range from purely avian to both avian and pet diagnostics.
The laboratory conducts the following services:
- Blood hematology and biochemistry
- Parasitology
- Cytology
- Microbiology
- Molecular biology, PCR
- Toxicology
- Water testing
- Histopathology
- Immunology
Laboratory testing is performed on samples of all bird species, dogs, cats and other pets. Samples submitted by private bird and pet owners, veterinary clinics, poultry farms; public and private institutions are accepted.
